MOC Shipyards Pvt. Ltd was incorporated in 2019 and as a brand name change due to the acquisition of Marine Frontiers and Timblo Drydocks, which brought over 50 years of shipbuilding experience, we enhanced our capacity to deliver complex vessels and provide technical services. This experience is now coupled with our state-of-the-art facilities, rolling-mill capacity, living-quarters experience, panel-line buildings, large drydocks, large cranes and transporters.

With offices in Australia, New Zealand and India MOC Shipyards operates two shipyards: one being a dedicated aluminium construction shipyard located in Alibaug, India and the other a steel construction shipyard located in Goa, India.

MOC Shipyards Mumbai

MOC Shipyards Mumbai is located at Dharamtar, Alibaug which is just 20 minutes by boat from the iconic Gateway of India and just 90 kms by road, Alibaug is an idyllic town on the western coast of India.

Our Alibaug shipyard constructs high performance aluminium vessels built to international standards by our highly trained and experienced construction team. We are capable of building aluminium mono-hull, catamaran, landing craft and RORO bespoke and client designs. We use Australian ‘state of the art’ technology in association with Australian supervisors. Experience has been gained over 25 years in boat building of vessels from military vessels and ferries right through to complex aquaculture and fishing vessels.. This, combined with our highly trained and skilled local craftsman, ensures high quality akin to European yards, given our low overheads the value of our construction is often head and shoulders above our competitors.

We also provide aluminium fabrication services such as marina’s, helidecks, aluminium fittings, gangways and davits etc. On-site ‘state of the art’ design with boat building facilities, technology and procedures ensures top quality new-builds by: Using the latest in CAD & 3D design systems, adopting computer router cut components, using the latest electronic welding machines, being under Australian Management and Directorship the shipyards construct all vessels to meet International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) accreditation and Flag State rules of the country of registration.
